Laura Levitt

Biographical Information

Laura Levitt is Assistant Professor of Religion and co-chair of the Jewish Studies Program at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). She received her BA at Brown University, her MA at Hebrew Union College-JIR, and her PhD at Emory University. In 1996 Levitt won the Young Scholar in American Religion award and serves on the editorial advisory board of The Reconstructionist.
